hope

Today I have to have hope... I have an appointment with a dermatologist because I have an extremely itchy and painful mole on my back.  I also must note that there is a history of melanoma on both sides of my family so.... I am nervous.  There is a part of me, the selfish, scared part of me that doesn't want to know BUT then there is the mature, practical, mother, wife, sister, daughter and niece part of me that has to know.
I have done a fair amount of research on melanoma and the treatment involved and know that not only is it painful, stressful and downright NO FUN.... it's also expensive as hell!  I don't have insurance right now so that's stressing me out too.
I have spent the morning cuddling with my #1 girl, whispering I love yous....
