Mommy and Me Playdate

I am starting a play date group at the recommendation of my loving husband, it's something that I've thought about doing for some time but then I get too caught up in the details.  I know you are now thinking... DETAILS?!?! It's a playgroup.... yeah, well that's how I roll.  I stress out.
 I start to think about:
  •  where a good location may be (then I worry that I am thinking about the wrong locations, what if more people would join if I chose a better playground),
  • what activities will I supply or suggest (do I structure the play date? do I bring books for a scheduled story time? what if the kids go crazy and my ideas fall apart?)
  • do I supply the snacks (do I request that everyone bring their own snacks, water and/or juice? what if someone forgets?  should I bring extra... just in case?)
You get the idea.  I'm a little over analytical when it comes to social occasions, which is hysterical because in every other aspect of my life I am fairly lackadaisical.

So anyway, I am thinking about a play group for Stay at Home and Work from Home mommies and daddies who want to meet up every other week (is that too often or not often enough?) or so at a local playground or park for some good old fashioned play time and socializing.

Please suggest "BEBELLIES" to any of your friends who may be interested in joining a really overly analyzed  fun play group in the Davenport/ Kissimmee/ Dr. Phillips/ SW Orlando area.
